Violet.......excuse me, LADY DOWEGER--is without a doubt the best character on Downton Abbey. All of the other characters have their moments of greatness and times when I love them, but they just can't compare. This quote just describes her perfectly. She's never vulgar, but always witty. Every comment she makes is perfectly timed. I hope I'm like that when I'm "elderly".
