France

There are many, MANY places I would like to visit "across the pond", but France is definitely right at the top of my list. In my mind, there is nowhere in Europe as beauiful and artistically stunning as France. I've often worried that it has been idealized in my mind and then if I ever actually get there I will be disappointed in what I find. Then I see pictures like this and think it must be absolutely everything I hope it is and more.

Maybe one day I'll actually get to see these things in person. And when that day comes I fully intend on staying in a cottage in the French countryside, and being serenaded from my window by Mumford and Sons.

  4. I'll try to rub the postcard on the Eiffel Tower before I send it, so you get as much Parisian spirit as possible. :) And I'll say hi to Mona Lisa (if I go inside the Louvre...depends on the queue <--- wow that's a weird word. I'm not even sure if it's American English but you get the idea haha :D). Oh and btw, Mumford&Sons are indeed British. But I can recommend listening to chansons by Edith Piaf. :)

  5. Mumford and Sons aren't French, but they are just so darn wonderful I can't resist them no matter what country I'm in :)I'll have to give Edith Piaf a listen as well though. And of course I will be listening to Via Con Mi through this entire ordeal that I have worked up in my imagination :)

P.S. Daggi, I oompletely agree. Queue is definitely on the list of weirdest words ever!! Hahahaha
