Decisions, decisions

So far I have four possiblities of places that I could work at and to whom my advisor has sent my application. The last few days have been rittled with phone interviews and wheels turning in my brain trying to decide which one would be the best fit.

The options are:

1. The Smithsonian
2. The Naval Museum
3. A community arts center that focuses on print and paper making
4. An art school for students with disabilities ranging from ADD to Autism

And actually, that's the order of how interested I am in each. However, there is a little problem with the whole Smithsonian deal.... my advisor sent my application to the Smithsonian Associates which is more of the office end of things rather than the Smithsonian Institution which houses the museums. I'm much more interested in working in a museum, but have kind of missed the obat on that one since I didn't realize the difference and my advisor didn't explain further. But I emailed her to see if she could talk to the folks at Smithsonian and see if they could use one more person. I'm really praying that one works out, because from what it says on their website it's EXACTLY what I have in mind for what I want to do during my internship! So here's hoping!

If that doesn't work out, the Naval Museum sounds like a pretty neat alternative. I would be setting up exhibits, writing info for the exhibits, and doing research on artists who would be featured in any of the exhibits.

So I ask that you keep me in your prayers that God would show me which one would be the best fit for me and where I could glorify Him to the utmost.

Till next time :)
