Marcus and Carey

You may remember a few months ago I wrote a post because I was excited to hear that actress Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford (lead singer of Mumford and Sons) were engaged. As I've mentioned before, I typically shy away from posting celebrity gossip/news. But again, today is an exception. Why you ask? Because over the weekend this adorable couple got married!

















I just think that they are a really lovely couple, and from what I've seen/heard of both of them they seem like really solid people. I truly hope that they can make it....of course I wish this for all marriages, but you know what I mean.
I was reading an article that talked about how they met, etc. etc. and it's such a cute story!!

Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford have made things official.
The 26-year-old British actress tied the knot with the Mumford & Sons singer, on Saturday at a farm in Somerset, England, reports Us Weekly.
The couple decided to say "I do" after a nine-month engagement, and exchanged vows in front of 100 guests, including celebrity friends, Sienna Miller, Colin Firth and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Mumford, 24, proposed to Mulligan in August 2011 after just five months of dating but the two had known each other for years.
According to The Sun, the two were childhood pen pals and it was only after they both found success in their respective fields that they got in touch with each other again.
"Carey and Marcus began sending each other letters through their churches when they were kids," an insider told the UK paper in June 2011. "After becoming friends again things got more serious earlier this year and romance blossomed."

On a side note, I'm really curious to see what Carey's dress looked like, because I'm a huge fan of how she dresses usually.
Anyway, I don't know if any of you are interested in this little bit of information, but I just had to post it because I am personally thrilled by the news.
