What a BEAUTIFUL wedding! Although I made the decision not to stay up until 4 in the morning to watch it, pictures say a thousand words. The couple looks so very happy to be married-- much more happy and excited than another royal couple we can all remember. I hope that they can make it work, much better than their parents could. William and Kate just seem so much more calm, at ease with each other, and insistent on making their wedding all that they wanted it to be instead of just following the wishes of others.
I LOVE Kate's dress! It was simple, but completely elegant and feminine. I love the fact that it's conservative, but also a tiny bit daring with the plunging neckline. Just what a wedding gown should be. I also love the full skirt, and the train (which wasn't too over the top, but still very royal and elegant). The only thing I find a tiny bit strange is that Kate's maid of honor, and flower girls also wore white.
